Natural Resources Scholarship

Teaching Hunter Safety Classes

Organized in 1919 as a community club supporting conservation and education in Sheboygan County. All proceeds raised through annual poultry party held the Sunday before the Super Bowl go to conservation. A partial list of programs or conservation related efforts includes Education (Trees for Tomorrow, annual scholarship, YWC Camp, Green Wing Program, Hunter Safety Program), Local Environmental (Acres for Wildlife, Sheboygan River Clean Up, promote catch & release), Improvements (Crystal & Elkhart Lake boat landings, Johnsonville dam), Political Activism (NRA, Legislation Fund of America, AWARE, landfill issues), and Wildlife Habitat Development (pheasant rearing, mallard hen houses, wildlife food plots, tree and shrub planting, fish stocking, marsh draining). Oldest conservation club in Sheboygan County. Dues are $15/year. Meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at Laack's Hall in Johnsonville.
