The Johnsonville Rod and Gun Club was founded in
1919. The monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of
each month at Laacks Hall in Johnsonville.
Dues are $20.00 per year.
The annual Poultry Party along with a cash raffle
held each year on the Sunday before the Supper Bowl at Laacks
Hall is our only fund raiser. All proceeds go toward
conservation with an emphasis on youth education. The club
offers a Hunter Ed class each spring in March and April. The
club has affiliate memberships in SCCA, WWF, NRA, WBH, and
Maywood. The club also contributes and assists in activities
such as Pheasants Forever Banquet, WLCV (lobby day). SCCA
Banquet, Awards Night, Pig Roast, Easy Money Raffle, Pheasant
Program, Trees For Tomorrow (2 Students), Outdoor Activity Day,
Muskie's Inc (fish for Outdoor Activity Day), Muskie's Inc
(Youth Muskie Weekend). Have held several youth learn to fish
programs, WOA Youth Expo, Sponsor a bus to transport kids to the
Youth Expo. DU Greenwing Day (donate a Youth Duck Hunt as a door
prize), Jr Coho Derby, Reel Um in Club at Longfellow School,
Camp Y-Koda sponsor a classroom program, Camp Y-Koda Banquet,
Share the Spirit, Food Pantry (Plymouth, Adell), Annual
Scholarships (2 at $750.00), The club has built and placed many
Wood Duck houses through out Sheboygan County.
